Biography

Julia Padilla received a degree in voice at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, with additional studies in theatre and dance at the University of Washington and The Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara.

Privately she studied voice with Giorgio Tozzi and Irina Tchillingarian. Her current coach is Jonathan Khuner (Metropolitan Opera, Chicago Opera, San Francisco Opera and West Edge Opera). Other coaches have included Peter Grunberg (San Francisco Opera and Symphony) and Monroe Kanouse (San Francisco Conservatory of Music).
